This trail is most certainly not closed.  The fires that recently happened in Southern California devastated many local hills and trails.  Burning away the old growth.  Ashy hill sides rolling through blue skies.  The bushes and trees blackened and collapsing, the new life within breaking through the bark.

Despite the signs of the past destruction, the beautiful new sprouts gave hope for the future.

While on these hikes I’ve been bringing along my Polaroid SX70 camera & a pack of Polaroid Originals 600 film, sometimes it’s b&w sometimes it’s color.  My goal is to put together an epic zine that I’ll have for sale on my Etsy Shop.  Until then I’ll be posting the scans here on my blog.
