Wild Burro Rescue

January 25th – 27th my girlfriend and I took the awesome opportunity to volunteer at the Wild Burro Rescue in Olancha, California. Butted up agains the foot hills of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, this rescue center has over 200 wild burros, a few horses, an awesome cow named Bessie.

The times I got to walk around it was such a relaxing and peaceful moment. During the day we would help feed the animals, clean the water troughs and just spend loving time with the animals.

If you’d like to volunteer, and I highly recommend you do, make sure to get a hold of Wild Burro Rescue and find out how you can help.
