3rd & Alameda

Many years ago I was obsessed with photographing graffiti.  I’d make regular trips in the wretched traffic 30 miles north to Los Angeles.  A friend of mine went out regularly to photograph the most recent OBEY pieces that sprung up around LA.  I had no problem tagging along.  There was this one intersection that every available space postered and stickered. Making the inanimate, lifeless area live and breath.  Change and grow.
